Walk the Walk: Vivienne Tam F/W 2013 Collection

Out of all the collections I saw yesterday, Vivienne Tam was definitely the most eye catchy one.

For this coming season, Vivienne Tam is all about words, plaids, comic print (from what I read, those figures are Obama) and QR code. Red is the dominant colour here to make the collection cheerful. I like the use of the Chinese word LOVE in some of the pieces as it reflects the cultural background of Vivienne. I also really like the pieces with different panels as they blend very well together.

The most interesting part, is of course the QR code. I am amazed by how she uses this technological element on some of the pieces and I think this is refreshing. I just wonder if I scan this QR code, will it direct us to Vivienne Tam website?

Pros:
- I love the colour palette, it makes the collection very cheerful.
- The comic print is amazing.
- I like the multi panels pieces. They are very interesting to look at but very wearable at the same time.
- Love the use of the Chinese word LOVE, especially how she breaks it apart to form interesting pattern for some of the pieces.
- Nothing beats the QR code design, I think this is a genius idea.

Cons:
- I wish there are some accessories with the comic print.
