Trendology: Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker Sunglasses Collection

Summer is finally here and the sun is out in full force. With the brighter months upon us, it is time to reach for our favourite accessory, sunglasses. Will your look be cool and confident or fun and wild this season? We suggest you experiment and switch it up to achieve different looks.

If you are looking to snag a new pair, (or three) check out this collaboration first. Supermodel Karlie Kloss, (best known as a Victoria Secret Angel and one of the campaign faces of Donna Karan), has teamed up with Warby Parker for a capsule collection that is smart and easy to shop. There are three great shapes, each available in two rich metallic tones, heirloom gold or heirloom silver. Not only will you look stunning, but with every purchase you will also be supporting an organization Karlie respects and admires, Edible Schoolyard NYC.

First up is the CLARA (shown in heirloom gold.) The soft playful roundedness of this frame will help you achieve the care free movie star look. Note the top outer corner accents on these wired rimmed frames. This simple yet brilliant feature, helps to draw the line upwards, combatting the common bottom heavy look rounded glasses often have, which is not always flattering.

Next is our favourite pair, the MARPLE, (shown in heirloom gold.) We cannot decide if these are playful sex kitten or don't mess with me chic. Never the less, these shades exude a powerful attitude and will no doubt have everyone asking, "Where did you get those?"

Rounding off the Karlie Kloss and Warby Parker collaboration is the JULIA, (shown in heirloom silver.) A soft flattering modern aviator is sure to work for just about any woman, (although the boys may be tempted to steal these when you are not looking.) The ocean blue lens on the heirloom silver frame is sexy, calm and in control

Given that the two are friends, we suspect superstar Taylor Swift will be spotted wearing a pair of Karlie Kloss sunglasses any moment. With that in mind, you might want to head over to Warby Parker and purchase your pair before they sell out. Make sure to check out the other options as we have only given you a sneak peak at three of the frame and coloured gradient lens combinations.
