Walk the Walk: Thakoon F/W 2012 Collection

Thakoon is bring us to the red light district this season, as if this is not a clear indication when you see the first few looks from the runway show...

There are a few great elements in this collection and they make the collection stands out. First, I am in love with the florescent light print, it is such a strange print but it works very well in this collection. Then Thakoon is giving the classic woman silhouette a modern twist by adding ruffle detail to the jacket or adding collar to a simple dress. Of course, the colour palette is what I like the most in the collection. I am surprised Thakoon has decided to use such a bright colour palette in this F/W collection, but the result is very pleasing. What do you think?

Pros:
- I love the red,  fuchsia colours in this collection.
- The 3D print is very interesting and I like it.
- I like the collar design on some of the pieces, very different and unique.
- I like the ruffle front of the jackets. It gives an edge to the pieces.

Cons:
I am not too sure about the feather pants.

Eye Candies:
- Camel double-faced knit coat dress with basket-weave leather back
- The red florescent light print dress
- The red/black 3D print dress
