Trendology: Jil Sander Menswear S/S 2011 Collection

Just when we are still enjoying the summer of 2010, fashion designers in the world have started to showcase their S/S 2011 menswear collection. First up, we have Jil Sander.

I have been following Jil Sander's collections for quite awhile now and this is the first time I see this brand can be this colorful. Aside from the slim cut black suits (which I absolutely love), Raf Simons seems to be getting the inspiration from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and applies it to this collection. Shorts, flora prints and block print tops are among the articles that are screaming for vivid colors and I absolutely love them. My favorite piece will be the shocking pink/ black stripes shirt and I think that item will be mine next year!
