Walk the Walk: Givenchy F/W 2011 Menswear Collection

Urban meets gothic, this is the theme of Givenchy F/W 2011 collection.

I have never been that impressed with Givenchy until now. This season, Riccardo Tisci has introduced the bulldogs print and I am blown away by how he can make this weird pattern work on the garments. The combination of plaid and bulldogs print is injecting a brand new dark element to the label. Also, I am loving the cream series, which injects the brightness to this collection. Other elements you cannot miss out are the shoes, glasses and the dog hat! I have a feeling dog prints will be overflown this coming season!

Pros:
- No doubt, the bulldogs print is the main element of this collection.
- Loving the cream color which makes the mood of this whole collection lighter.
- The boots are funky
- The buckle on the coat is a very nice touch.
- The dog hat is so fresh and I know a lot of rappers will want that on their heads.

Cons:
- Shorts + leggings combo should end soon, it has been the trend for quite some time now.
- I wish some of the pieces could be less baggy.

Eye Candies:
- The thigh high boots
- The plaid+ bulldogs print shirt.
- The dog ear hat
- Dog mouth X-ray scarf
- Brown bombler
- The cream series
