Walk the Walk: Altuzarra F/W 2012 Collection

Joseph Altuzarra proves why he deserves an important position in the New York Fashion Week with his latest F/W collection yesterday night.

Corto Maltese (a comics series created by Hugo Pratt) is the inspiration of this collection and as you can assume, there are a lot of sailor and pirate inspired pieces. There are many sporty pieces and the jackets are very well structured (inspired by the sailor uniforms). Also, I love the red pattern prints and the coins element has made the collection unique. Overall, this is a very solid collection and I am excited to see what Joseph will have in store next season.

Pros:
- I love the sailor, pirate theme, it is very refreshing.
- The jackets are very well structured and this element helps to show the bold side of a woman.
- I am a big fan of the prints and the coins belt.
- This is a very cohesive collection.

Cons:
- Not a fan of the green cropped jacket. It doesn't really fit into the collection.

Eye Candies:
- Pirate print sleeveless dress
- Black/white one piece dress with V neck pom poms embellishment.
- Black sailor inspired long coat
- The coins belt
