Trendology: Balenciaga Pre Fall 2010

Balenciaga has finally released photos of the pre Fall collection and since Nicolas Ghesquière has done a great job for spring/summer collection, I do have high expectation on this pre fall collection.

This season's collection is as colorful as last season and you can see that masculine element is blended in it. To me, when I first look at the collection, I feel like the models look like the people from the science lab, mainly because of the glasses and the gloves (that does not mean I don't like the collection). Also, the towering platforms are inspired by a  French industrial designer named Charlotte Perriand. I am sure color clashes and patterns are the main features for this F/W collection.
