Trendology: Dior Fall 2010 Menswear Collection

I have been so excited today because Dior has showcased the latest F/W men's collection and it hasn't disappointed me at all. Since the Hedi Slimane's regime, skinny pants has become the trademark for Dior; however, this season, Kris has finally introduced back the loose look to the collection.

Since I am not a tall person, I am still focused on the short length jacket and the straight cut pants. I think it is a very nice touch for Kris to put silver outline for the tie and the jacket to make the clothes more edgy. In Kris Van Assche's own show, he has used gray and black pleated pattern for his collection. In here, he has introduced the stripe pattern and I think is a pretty interesting attempt to put this pattern on a slight loose cut clothes.

Shoes is definitely another item to look at in this collection. If you have noticed, in this collection, most of the pants are only to the ankle length and I believe Kris really wants you to focus on the shape and details of the shoes.At first, you may find them to be very normal, but once you get another look, you can see there are straps all over the place and I find them interesting. If I were a tall person, I would definitely want to try on some of the trench coats because they actually will make your body look slimmer and taller.

This collection has not let me down at all and I am excited to see the clothes to be in stores in the future.
