Trendology: Lanvin Fall 2010 Menswear Collection

Wow! This is the show and trend every man will probably be talking about for the next few months. Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver have definitely pushed the menswear envelope for this Fall/Winter collection. They have thrown in so many elements in this collection which make you smile when you look at them.

The coat department is fantastic here. I will never imagine to have a elastic belt wrapping around a blazer. The details on the jacket have enhanced the look of this collection.  This look is totally futuristic and definitely has showed the Lanvin's own attitude towards fashion. I have also lost words on how to describe the knitwear because what I have seen in the photos are "jaw dropping" great!

If you love to buy a lot of pants, you will love this collection. Most of the pants that the models have on during the show are unique and they are range from loose fit, slim fit, formal dress pants to functional outdoor pants. I am a fan of pants with many pockets so this is definitely my cup of tea.

Even though the shoes are not as outstanding as the last seasons, I have to say this collection has a lot of great outfits that you will want to wear everyday. They are futuristic, modern, and really have defined the new decade of menswear.
