Graphicology: Look at me Tokyo by Antoine Kruk

I have recently received an email from an illustrator named Antoine Kruk and the email is about his latest illustration book, Look At Me Tokyo.

As you may have already figured out, this book is all about Tokyo in Japan. There are close to 200 pages in this book and it is divided into 4 chapters: Look at me Macadam, Look at me Fashion Addict, Look at me East to West and Look at me Until Later. I have seen some of the works and I like them a lot. The illustrations are edgy, and fit our blog very well because they are all about fashion! Also, I am a fan of Japanese culture so this suits my taste very well!

This is what Antoine has sent to us and I have asked my friend to translate it from French to English.

"The stunning looks of urban tribes Tokyo 200 drawings. By the looks crisp tribal urban Tokyo, the most mundane to the most eccentric Anthoine Kruk carries a portrait of modern habits and highlights of this city. It humorously captures the mood of a society that has the ability to reinventing between tradition and fascination with the West. Nearly 200 drawings incisive and elegant, with texts funny and tender, mark this fictional journey from morning to evening in Tokyo today. Look at Me Tokyo comprises four chapters: Look at me ... Macadam, Look at me ... Fashion Addict, Look at me ... East to West, Look at me ... until later."

Also, here is a brief biography of him.
