Trendology: Sheridan College Textile Studio

It was only Day 1 of FAT, there were more than one amazing shows in the event.  However, one that had my mind engaged is the whimsical show by Sheridan College Textile Studio.  The show was, as its name says, about textile design, but beyond which they also showed their creativity in presenting their idea.  Inspired by the nature and the wild, headpieces and accessories were all items from the nature; prints on the fabrics were organic and abstract images from the woods.  Models were shoeless and dressed as if the wild is their only resource for making clothes;  the girls were dancing down the runway freely, but in resonance to others as if they were in the wild.  In contrast of the ordinary runway shows, along a piece of dreamy and peaceful music, they expressed their inner minds through facial expressions.
