Trendology: Jessica Mary Clayton for FAT

Earlier this month, we featured a Canadian Fashion Designer - Jessica Mary Clayton.  Last week, we were lucky enough to watch her show in FAT; looked at all her pieces in reality was amazing.  Her inspiration from Joan of Arc was very evident, especially when she explored the dark and light fabrics, as well as the hard and soft textures.  Though her collection was showing a rather dark style, the white fabric showed vintage angelic images.  Even though she only used one colour on each piece, the textures and materials were contrasting as they joined together.  The mushroom pleating and ombre dye were well executed, showing layering and slim silhouette. With the extra dark makeup, it really showed her heretic concept and a rebellious mood.
