Trendology: YSL Resort 2011 Collection

YSL has released the photos for the cruise collection and vintage chic is the two words I can use to describe this collection.

This collection totally reminds me of the 70s vintage chic era and I am loving the color Stefano Pilati is using here. It's bright and it suits the spring season perfectly. Out of the 5 looks that are in this look book, my eyes are on the blue trench coat with the gold belt. This look totally reminds me of Wonder Woman which gives me this new conclusion: YSL is going for a vintage yet and independent woman approach. This is definitely a good collection which will lead to the S/S season.
