Trendology: INDIVIDUALS at AMFI

Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) owned fashion brand INDIVIDUALS has showcased the S/S 2011 collection during the Amsterdam Fashion Week and dreamy and cheerful are the words I can come up with after seeing the photos of the runway show.

Circus is the theme for this collection so the color pallet is tended to be softer to give a cheerful feeling. The first set of the clothes is what caught my eyes. The use of purple-champagne gradient is making the clothes look so elegant. I also love the loose shapes design which makes the clothes look very fluffy and light.

If you are not a fan of loose shapes, fear not, because half of this collection has a tighter fit to showcase  the boldness of female figures. The blazers that are showcased here do show the masculine side of the models. I honestly cannot take my eyes off this collection and I hope in the future, each designer will have their own line because I see a lot of potential here. Good luck!
