Mary Katranzou is presenting a very fresh idea in fashion. This idea is to have the room on the woman rather than the woman in the room. So she got us to focus on the environment 'on' the models, which she presented using her fashion. In the prints, Katranzou used perspectives to provide depth of the room, symmetrical scenes and environment that allowed her to work her creativity on the fabric. By all means, she brought the drapery 'out' from the room as 2 pieces of chiffons, a pelmet as the neckline, and pendant as the light. This collection gives me an illusion as if the models are carrying different environment out, imagining what's happening 'inside the room' instead of focusing what's actually going on in the room where the show is going on.
