Matthew Williamson introduced this collection with an interesting concept - urban bohemian marooned “somewhere exotic and sun-drenched. And as time passes, she goes more native". Somewhere exotic and sun-drench would translate into desert, which explains the earthy tone and golden sand that appeared in the collection. The blue conveys the sky, and the minimal greens reflects the small portions of plants in desert. As the girls in the desert go more native, they dripped their miniskirts with bugle beads and peacock feathers, handcrafted tops and cropped jackets with wood and tin details. Showing more idea of the environment, the floor length dress, which Williamson explained as the parachute silk, is fastened with the parachute straps and buckles. Who doesn't long for this collection as it is so dreamy and exotic?
