Trendology: Rodarte S/S 2011 Collection

No one can imagine a great collection can be created with the inspiration of your childhood backyard. Here, Kate and Laura Mulleavy are telling you this is possible.

Brown, blue and a touch of gold are what you see in this collection. The clothing tend to be more wearable ever though the artistic element still exists on most of the pieces. My favorites will be the blue and white flower pattern pieces which they give me a very fresh feeling. Also, it is very interesting to see the wooden print appears on some of the garments. Last but not least, you cannot ignore the Nicholas Kirkwood x Rodarte shoes, they are simply amazing (how on earth can they come up with this idea?). Overall, I am loving this collection a lot and looking forward for their F/W 2011 collection!
