Trendology: Gareth Pugh Spring 2011 RTW

As we saw the phenomenon video by Gareth Pugh on his Spring 2011 RTW collection, we knew this collection is going to be very futuristic and continued to be in his signature gothic style.

Gareth showed us what he is capable for with optical illusion, as we can also see from the video.  With the main colour theme, black and white, silver and grey, the collection is very cyber. Rubberized neoprene patches formed tops and pants, which the patches are in relationship to the human movement, yet he used used a new "modular" with the same front and back.  Silvery pieces dominated the collection during the later show, showing some sci-fi influences as the aluminum provided a mirror effect.

If the next Star-Trek movie can hire Gareth as their costume designer, I think it's going to be awesome!
