Trendology: Haider Ackermann Spring 2011 RTW

Haider Ackermann is always good at playing with curves, or might as well say curves in leather.  Even though playing with leather is his specialty, this year he is playing with silk also.  Starting the show with his famous leather curves, then silk is introduced for the collection.  Combining the bright colours such as bright red, vivid blue, violet and emerald green, the mood of spring is brought up as these colours emerged. The overall style of this collection is rather airy because of the silk, it's so light and flowing that the robe would fall of from one side of the shoulders, yet, it's the purpose of the design.
