Trendology: THOMAS S/S 2011 Collection

Michael and Drew Thomas have showcased one of the most interesting S/S 2011 collections during the LG Fashion Week and this collection has wowed a lot of audience on the runway.

There are 2 gimmicks of this collection: monotone and unisex. Throughout the whole runway show, black and white are the only colors you see to create the cool and edgy effect. The draped top matches with the skinny pants is the signature silhouette of this collection. Some of the pieces that have caught my eyes include the shirt-dress, sleeveless shirt with leather stripes and the capes.

When I look at this collection, this thought keeps pop up in my mind: What if the guy were wearing this girl's top and vice versa? The result is actually possible and it is actually impossible to draw a line between the mens and womenswear in this collection.

I am looking forward to see what this duo will have for us in the fall and winter season!
