Trendology: Valentino Spring 2011 RTW Collection

Ruffles, ruffles, ruffles, ruffles, ruffles, and..yes, the ruffles! This collection has so many ruffles, lots of ruffles, (that's why I had to repeat the word so many times to literally emphasis the quantity of it.) Every piece is with ruffles, but they're not the same ruffle, or they're in different sizes and combination so you won't get bored the ruffles, instead you get excited about it.  The lightness of the fabric, the ruffles (how can I not say this word again?), the sheerness, the soft colours, the lace and the accent hemming that gave a very clean line to the soft ruffles, all together rendered a very romantic collection.  Oh, and the denim, how can I miss the denim? Yes, ruffles with denim, excellent tailoring by the 2 designers.  Applause.
