Trendology: Late Night Chameleon Cafe Store Opening

LN-CC is a new London based concept store, also an online shopping platform, recently opened a new 5000sqft retail store in East London.  The project was initiated by John Skelton, formerly of oki-ni and Harrods, and Daniel Mitchell, where the edgy store was designed by set designer, Gary Card.

The concept store houses collections of music, clothes and books; carrying mainstream designers clothing to underground Japanese brands, which we will definitely talk about later.  For now, let's look at the concept of the store.  It consists of 3 concept rooms, a book and record store, a music room for private events, a working studio which linked by an indoor forest and futuristic skeletal tunnel built with raw wood and orange acrylic.

As the music room will be finished by 2011 with the help of sound engineer Mickey Boyle, the room will be then for hospitality use at night time while for customers during the day.
