Trendology: Thakoon Pre Fall 2011 Collection

After seeing the look book of Thakoon's Pre Fall collection, all I can think of is the word red.

Red is definitely the dominator element in this collection and as usual, his designs are simple, yet they are very easy to mix and match with the clothes in your closet. The collection tends to be a little softer than the previous seasons and I do see the 70s influence in it (take a look at the blue/white patterned suit). Other than the red color element, I am very excited to see the abstract form of the animal print. According to Thakoon, the print on the clothes is not leopard print but instead, he calls it the "tiger, snow, and dots."
