Walk the Walk: Giorgio Armani Privé S/S 2011 Haute Couture Collection

I believe after designing the costumes for Lady Gaga, Giorgio Armani must be in love with the futuristic idea. In this Haute Couture collection, all the pieces are very trendy and futuristic and surprisingly, you can still see some vintage glamour elements throughout the runway show. I really love the innovative designs and the color palette is fantastic. This collection has marked the new generation of Haute Couture.

Congratulation Giorgio Armani, this is truly a milestone to the new vibe of Haute Couture!

Pros:
- The electric vibe color palette is breath taking.
- I really like the futuristic vibe with the use of new materials.
- The silhouette is clean but the cutting and design are making the pieces very classy.
- The accessories are great and they look very trendy.
- The metal saucer hat is a must for this S/S Haute Couture season!

Cons:
- It somehow reminds me of Versace F/W 2010 collection.
- Few color combinations do not work for me in this collection (especially the stained glass series).

Eye Candies:
- Apple green one piece with white leggings
- Black to green gradient suit
- Purple studded jacket with the chain mail necklace
- navy tube top suit with metallic red accent
