Walk the Walk: Givenchy S/S 2011 Haute Couture Collection

This Haute Couture collection is all about Riccardo's vision of Japanese culture and he delivers a solid collection! While the front of each dress is very plain with pastel color, the back of it is decorated with bright color sequins. From what I know, each dress requires 4000 hours to make and this is why Givenchy's Haute Couture is always so valuable and stunning.

Pros:
- The pastel colors on the gowns are very nice.
- The sequins detail is breath taking and I think only Riccardo can create something like that.
- I like how he uses Kimono as the blue print and modifies each piece with his twisted design.
- Love the fringe at the bottom of some gowns.
- Good use of Japanese symbol: crane.
- If you are an anime fan, don't you think this has a Gundam vibe too?

Cons:
- The helmet is just not my cup of tea.

Eye Candies:
- All of them! Each piece is like a valuable art piece.
