Walk the Walk: Valentino S/S 2011 Haute Couture Collection

If you like to see romantic pieces in Haute Couture collection, then you will love Valentino. In this season, chiffon is the major element which makes the pieces look very light and airy. Overall, this is a very classic Valentino collection and I think Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri have done an amazing job on many of the pieces. Bravo!

Pros:
- Love the color palette for this collection, very light and earthy.
- The ruffle is always the signature of this fashion house.
- Love the use of chiffon in this collection.
- The layering is amazing on some pieces.

Cons:
- Some of the designs are predictable.
- The first few outfits look very normal to me.

Eye Candies:
- Chiffon gown with the bell shape cape
- Camel color ruffle dress
- White gown with the crystal embellishments at the waist area.
