Walk the Walk: Ralph Lauren F/W 2011 Collection

Ralph Lauren was the show that surprised me the most during New York Fashion Week and once again this brand is back to my "the ones to watch" list. This season, Mr Lauren has taken inspiration from the Chinese culture and injected it to the minimalism design. The outcome is surprisingly pleasant and many of the pieces are extremely wearable. Overall, I call this collection the movable art collection. Bravo Mr Lauren!

Pros:
- Loving the Chinese influence on the pieces, especially the accessories.
- The unisex numbers are very strong in this collection.
- Because most of the pieces are back in color, the vibe for this collection is very mysterious, yet elegant.
- I like the use of material in this collection.

Cons:
- This collection somewhat reminds me of Chanel pre-fall 2010 collection.
- Personally, not a big fan of the emerald green.

Eye Candies:
- The double breasted suit.
- The Chinese gown with black lace around the shoulders area
- The Chinese Empress blzer
