Walk the Walk: Versace F/W 2011 Collection

It's been awhile since I am totally falling in love with Versace's womenswear but this time, this collection does the trick.

The color palette is fantastic for this season as I am a big fan of purple, yellow, red, green, black and white. As for the gimmick of this collection, it will have to be the flora prints which help to enhance many of the pieces. Also, just like Prada, Donatella is using the big buttons on a lot of the pieces and I truly believe this will be the up coming trend. To me, the best part will be the frocks that are shown at the end of the show. Those fringe numbers are simple stunning not only because of the colors, but also the fine cutting as well. Donatella has clearly won a lot of her old fans back . Bravo!

Pros:
- Love the color palette.
- The floral print is very refreshing, and it enhances many of the pieces.
- The big button military inspired coats are very nice.
- The color accent on some of the dark pieces is a brilliant design idea. Subtle but effective.
- The last few fringe frocks are amazing and I am looking forward to see them on red carpets.
- Did I mention the killer boots? Amazing!

Cons:
- Not too sure about the fur snood
- The reversed S stripe on a few pieces does not work for me.

Eye Candies:
- The military jacket
- The white coat dress with fur sleeves
- White dress with purple and yellow floral print
- The last few fringe frocks
