Louis Vuitton presents the F/W 2011 collection at a hotel lobby setting runway and models come out from the ornate grilled elevators. If observe closely, you can identify the characters of the models and they include maids, fair ladies and even prostitutes. I am fascinated by the materials Marc Jacobs uses to create the clothes and to give this collection a fun side, a carnival mask pattern is introduced. My conclusion about this show is: This is a total package runway show (especially you get to see Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss on the runways)! What do you think?
Pros:
- The runway show is fabulous! I am loving the lobby concept!
- The night-porter peaked caps with a carnival mask twist is a brilliant idea.
- Loving the use of leather, sheer material and furs.
- The boots are amazing!
- The big button trend is a hit for this collection.
Cons:
- I am not a big fan of the oversized design, the models look very huge in them.
Eye Candies:
- Laser leather lace suit
- The night-porter peaked caps
- Diamond cut scale pencil skirt
