Walk the Walk: Burberry Prorsum S/S 2012 Menswear Collection

A very nice collection with a retro flare.

Christopher Bailey has just presented the S/S 2012 menswear collection titled Handcrafted Heritage. One of the most amazing things about this collection is black is missing, and tit is replaced by different vibrant colors. The patterns on the clothes this seasons are amazing, especially the circular graphic. Because of the patterns, they somehow injects a retro flare to the collection (I keep thinking about the Beatles for some reasons). Also, the accessories are killers and I think I will want to have those shoes in my wardrobe next season. Bravo, this is a very interesting, yet wearable collection.

Pros:
- A very colorful collection with lots of bright colors.
- Good use of the patterns.
- I love the embellishments on the white shirts and the wood geometric shapes on the sweaters.
- The knit collar design on some of the pieces are simply amazing.
- The accessories are amazing. The soles of the shoes are made of Cork!

Cons:
- The oversized pieces do not really work for me. To me, trench coat will always look good when it is in slim cut.

Eye Candies:
- The Shoes!
- The white dress shirt with graphic logo
- The white cardigan
- Denim jacket
- The sweater with wood embellishment
