Walk the Walk: Marios Schwab S/S 2012 Collection

Marios Schwab brought down the house on Sunday during the 3rd day of London Fashion Week. The whole collection was very whimsical and it was about the contrast of light and dark. The special elements in this collection included the net, the geometric shape design and the straws. The colour palette was dark but the Lavender colour had really given a kick to the collection. Because of the sheer material, many pieces looked very airy and it fitted well with the spring and summer season. Overall, this was a very solid collection!

I still cannot get over the last look in the show. That sheer gown with crystals underneath...

Pros:
- I love the net design on the pieces.
- The Lavender colour adds an extra kick to the collection.
- The cutting is very sleek and the design makes the pieces very bold and unique.
- I really like the contrast concept. This collection reminds me of what Princess Leia  would wear if she was living in the modern days.
- I am in love with the geometric shape design on the 2nd half of the show.

Cons:
- Would love to see more straw inspired pieces.
