Walk the Walk: Rodarte S/S 2012 Collection

I am a huge fan of Van Gogh's artworks and also a fan of the Mulleavy sisters. When you put these 2 elements together, what you get is a spectacular S/S 2012 collection!

For this coming season, the sisters have taken some amazing artworks from Van Gogh and turned them into prints for the pieces. The texture of some of the pieces will remind you of Van Gogh's brush stroke style. The sisters also surprise me by using the clouds  from the Starry Night on the sheer material. Overall, I think it is a very whimsical and beautiful S/S collection! Bravo to the Mulleavy sisters!

Mulleavy sisters

Pros:
- I really like the colour palette, is very summery.
- The Van Gogh painting prints has totally blown me away.
- The textures of the pieces are very interesting and they remind me of the brush strokes in a painting.
- A nice touch on applying the Van Gogh's clouds on the sheer material

Cons:
- Not a fan of the shoes.
