Walk the Walk: Simon Spurr S/S 2012 Collection

It's no surprise I am a huge fan of Simon Spurr because of the high quality pieces. For this season, Spurr continues to create stunning pieces for men and the main element is the different kinds of stripes. Some stripes pieces do work for me and I am very happy to see the designer has decided to throw in 2 camouflage pieces on the runway. Over all, I think this is another great show for the designer and probably one of the best menswear in New York Fashion Week this season.

Pros:
- The colour palette is leaning towards dark colour but it works well with the collection. (Olive gold is a stunning colour in this collection)
- The stripes are totally working for many of the pieces.
- The leather sleeves are giving a big kick to the jackets/coats.
- Love the detailing on some of the blazers.
- The red biker jacket at the end is totally stealing the show!

Cons:
- Some looks remind me of Burberry Prorsum F/W 2011 collection.

Eye Candies:
- Red leather biker jacket
- brown blazer with black leather sleeves and black details on lapels
- Camouflage safari jacket
- diagonal stripes suit
