Walk the Walk: Thakoon S/S 2012 Collection

Thakoon was one of the brands I was looking forward to see during New York fashion week this season and fortunately, the collection did not disappoint me at all. This was a rather strange, yet refreshing collection. The reason why I thought it was a strange collection was because I felt there was the cowgirl met Indian style vibe here. The flora prints pieces were really amazing and the design of the pieces were very detail oriented.

After looking at the collection over and over again, I do come up with one question: How well the Americans will digest this collection as some of the pieces are really not ready to wear. Only time will tell...

Pros: 
- The prints are amazing in this collection.
- The collection is full of rich colour pieces.
- The gold stripes on the pants are refreshing and fun to wear.
- The details on many of the tops are very nice and they really show the amazing skill of the designer.

Cons:
- Not a big fan of the shoes.

- Floral print one piece sleeveless dress
- Brown trench coat
