Russ' illustration is something I cannot really use words to describe. It is dark, aggressive (as if the illustration is going to jump at you), and yet beautiful at the same time. In this series, you can see that the girls and the animals are blending together and I find it very haunting, yet beautiful at the same time. What do you think?
