Riccardo Tisci presents a quite stunning collection during Paris Fashion Week and if you are tired of last seasons prints, then you will instantly fall in love with this collection. This season, Riccardo is more focus on the tailoring and using exotic material to make pieces. The silhouette is soft, yet the undulating lapels is giving a bold statement to some of the pieces. Riccardo has also interpreted his idea of mermaid and added a modern fishtail on some of the bottom pieces. Of course, how can you not be fascinated by the eel, shark, or stingray skin on the pieces?
Once again, Riccardo has proven he is not a one trick pony and I am very excited to see these pieces show up in editorials in the coming season! Bravo!
Pros:
- The pastel colours are making this collection very soft and mellow.
- I really like the undulating lapels on many of the pieces.
- I rarely like sequin pieces but this collection just does the trick for me.
- The exotic material is one of the elements why you will want to pay a high price for this collection.
- I like the mermaid tail on some of the bottom pieces
Cons:
- For some strange reasons, I actually miss the print from this fashion house.
Eye Candies:
- Pastel pink vest
- White chiffon fishtail one piece skirt
- Sequin peplum blouse
