On the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Marc Jacobs presents the S/S Louis Vuitton collection in a very whimsical way. The setting is one of the major attractions of a theme park: Merry Go Round. The mood is very happy and most of the models are dressed in floral laser cut or 3D floral embellishment pieces. I really like the colour palette for this collection and the accessories are very beautiful (note: The heels are the killers!). Unlike the bold and edginess of the F/W collection, this time, the pieces are softer in cutting and design. Honestly, I will enjoy seeing ladies wearing this collection to a carnival in the future. What do you think?
Pros:
- The pastel colour palette is so different than last season and this shows the soft side of the brand.
- I really like the floral laser cut as this injects the whimsical element to the collection
- I can't deny it, this has to be the best runway presentation of this season. It makes me want to go to a theme part right the way.
- The heels and bags are killers here. I expect everyone
Cons:
- It reminds me of Miu Miu Fall 2009 collection.
Eye Candies:
- Cyan transparent floral laser cut dress
- 3D floral dress
- The metal heels
