Trendology: McQ Pre Fall 2012 Collection

It's great to know Sarah Burton is the creative director for McQ again and at first glance, I thought I was looking at a new Alexander McQueen collection.

Sarah has introduced the Victorian style cutting back to this collection and not only does the collection looks rock and edgy, there is also a sense of elegancy as well. Even though the colour palette is leaning towards the dark tone, the bright red and the red floral print pieces are very whimsical and regal which help to balance out the gothic style tone of the collection. After seeing this collection, I am very excited to see what Sarah will do for this Alexander McQueen sub brand during London Fashion Week in February!
