Walk the Walk: Dior Homme F/W 2012 Collection

After taking few seasons to warm up, Kris Van Assche finally delivers a stunning Dior Homme collection that is very refreshing and bold. This collection also defines what a new Dior man should look like.

From colours to silhouette, this collection is taken inspiration from military wear. I really like the military green and also a touch of silver on some of the pieces. Also, the birds print is very bold and daring and I actually did not expect Kris would experiment this with a Dior Homme collection. The suits and trench coats are well tailored and the loose fit capes are going to be an item every Dior fan will want to own. Overall, I think this is probably the best collection Kris Van Assche has ever created for Dior Homme and I am happy to see how he is going to take this direction for the next season. Bravo!

Pros:
- The collection is very solid and cohesive. I love how the military green dominates the entire collection
- I really like the fitting of the suits and jackets. They are not exactly slim fit, but they sit very well on your body to make you look bold and confident.
- The birds print is a very big surprise and I am impressed with those few pieces
- The mixed material trench coats and the plain colour capes are clearly something all Dior Homme fans will want to own.

Cons:
- I am surprised there is only 1 bag in this runway presentation. I hope there will be some military inspired pieces.

Eye Candies:
- Grenn/silver trench coat
- Bird print jacket
- Military green suit
- Capes
