Walk the Walk: Thom Browne F/W 2012 Menswear Collection

It's about the fight between punks and jocks, and my pick is...

Thom Browne once again shows a very interesting runway show on the last day of Paris Fashion Week and the theme this time is Punks vs Jocks. For the punks part, Browne applies studs on the slim silhouette (is way slimmer than what he has designed before) which I think is very refreshing. As for the jocks, everything is oversized and makes every model to look like a comic character on the runway. Also, the introduction of skirt to the jocks is really making a statement to the world (seriously, have you ever thought a jock will wear skirt?) I think this is the most wearable runway collection I have seen from this brand and if Browne can show the audience the normal size of those jock pieces, I am sure this collection will be selling like hot cakes.

So, my pick is... the punks. What's yours?

Pros:
- I like the jocks vs punks concept. Everything is very true to the brand but with studs and shoulder pads have made this collection special.
- Throwing in the Fair Isle pattern into this collection is truly refreshing. I love the colour on those pieces too!
- The accessories are actually very amazing, I really like the school bags.
- As always, Thom Browne runway show is always fun to watch.

Cons:
- The one short one long pants does not really work for me, I hope this is just for styling purpose.

Eye Candies:
- The grey studded blazer
- The Fair Isle pattern suit
- Blue/white varsity jacket
