Walk the Walk: Louis Vuitton F/W 2012 Collection

How to make a great runway show? A real train perhaps.

For this season, Marc Jacobs decides to send off the models to the runway through the use of train. All ladies are dress so elegantly and each of them also has  an important accessory - porter. While the ladies are showing off their cool big shinny button coats and pants, the porters are behind each of them and carrying some fancy handbags. The bags are very colourful and some of them are made of exotic materials. This collection is dominated by long coats and pants and I think the prints are really helping to boost up the pieces.

I do find there is a correlation between this collection and Marc Jacobs F/W 2012 collection as you can see the style is very similar. I bet Mr. Jacobs is all about hats this season and to be honest, I find them very appealing and appropriate for this season.

I am glad Marc Jacobs is staying in Louis Vuitton because recently, he is acing every collection he does for this fashion house. I am hoping this legacy will continue and looking forward to see what he has in store for us in S/S 2013.
