Walk the Walk: Valentino F/W 2012 Collection

If 2012 is really the end of the world, you may as well die wearing beautiful clothes. Valentino might be a very good option if you believe in the Mayan calendar...

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli produce some amazing leather and lace pieces this season. 
Almost everything in this collection is sending off a very romantic vibe which you will love instantly (even the studded accessories). I always love the woman classic silhouette and the duo has really done a good job by creating pieces for this kind of shape. Last but not least, who is not dying for that leather cape? I know I am (please make this for men).

Pros:
- Very good use of leather and those pieces fit perfectly on the models.
- I like the colour palette. The Valentino classic palette can never go wrong, especially the red.
- The studded bags, according to what I read on twitter, are very beautiful.
- The red leather hybrid trench coat is pretty!

Cons:
- The patch pieces do not really work for me.
