Game[On]: à la mode - New Phase

Change is good!

It's been almost 3 years now and we believe it is time to give this a blog a little shake up. At this moment, we want to focus on more emerging designers and artists. Because of this shake up, we have decided not to update the blog regularly so we can focus on finding the best things to share with you. All categories will remain the same, however, we will be focusing on 5 parts:

Emerging Photographers
The blog will continue looking for emerging photographers. Things we would like to do include showcasing more interesting editorials and doing interviews. We would also like to have more photographers to submit works to us for review.

Emerging Illustrators/ Painters
Illustration is still a big part of this blog so we will continue digging for new artists. The blog will feature their works and also interview these artists.

Emerging Fashion Designers
Discovering emerging fashion designers will give our readers more knowledge about the fashion industry. We will continue to look for unique fashion designers and showcase their collections and possibly set up interviews with them.

The Fashion Trend Makers
We want to remain faithful to the high fashion industry but instead of talking about every brand during fashion weeks, we will just stay focus on 10-12 brands each season. The reason we pick these brands because they continue to support the arts industry and we want to tie them in with our new concept. 5 brands will have permanent positions on our list and we will pick 5-7 noteworthy brands for each new season.

The permanent brands include:

Alexander McQueen
Burberry
Dolce & Gabbana
Givenchy
Louis Vuitton
Prada

Things we will focus on these brands include their runway shows, editorials, campaigns and arts projects (e.g. Fantasy Lookbook from Prada).

The Men’s Shoes
We are huge fans of men’s shoes so while we may not introduce new fashion items on the blog anymore, this particular portion will remain.

For those of you who like to read Fashionist[On The Go], this portion will remain so you will continue seeing a new post update every Friday.

We believe change is necessary and trust us, this is going to be a promising future and we will do our best to bring you more goodies from around the world that are related to arts and fashion.
