Graphicology: Allegory

Back in June, I had a feature article on artist Jolene Lai and right now she is having a a solo exhibition at Galerie Sogan & Art in Singapore till November 30th. Today, I just want to share her amazing works with you.

Daphne's Toys

These new art works are inspired by Asian folklore. Once again, I really like how colourful each image is and she always does a great job on composition. As a viewer, I am still digesting some of the images because I feel like each girl is trying to send out a message.

Once again, if you are in Singapore, I encourage you to visit this exhibition as I always believe seeing the art works in real life can give you a new prospective on the art pieces.
