Graphicology: Latin Love by Lula

I am not too sure what is my association with Frida Kahlo lately but within these 2 weeks, I have seen her art exhibition at AGO, a fashion collection inspired by her, a friend of mine dressed up as her on Halloween and now, this series of illustrations by Lula.

Lula has dressed Frida in some S/S 2013 collections and if Frida were still alive, I could pretty much see her wearing these pieces on the street. Out of all the illustrations Lula has done for this series, I love the Gareth Pugh piece the most as it truly fits Frida's aesthetic.
