Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli never fail to disappoint me with the Valention's menswear collection and "love at first sight" is exactly how I describe this F/W 2013 collection.
This collection continues to blend the classics with modern designs. Leather is a major element in this collection and I love how it is used to highlight the middle part of many of the outfits. Maria and Pier also use check patten, one of the major elements in this season, to design some sleek garments. As usual, I am in love with the suits and sooner or later, I will just have to find a way to try one on.
Congrats to Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli on another amazing collection! I can't wait to see what the designers will make for the Haute Couture and womenswear collections in the coming months.
Pros:
- I am in love with how the leather is used in this collection. I love the way where it is place in the middle of the piece.
- All the outwear pieces are very nice and they make men look very modern and bold.
- I am always a fan of Valentino's suits and Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli have nailed this section again.
- Even though the majority of the collection is in black, I don't feel it is boring at all because of the designs of the garments. The collection is refreshing!
Cons:
- I would like to see just a few more pieces from that red check pattern. I think the pattern is so pretty!
Eye Candies:
- Fur blazer
- Red check pattern jacket
- All the outwear with the leather patch in the middle.
