I have always been a fan of SixLee and have written several posts on à la mode. Finally, we have decided to work on a collaboration project together Fashionary, the world's leading fashion sketchbook brand, will be part of it as well! If you are an illustrator, this contest is perfectly tailored for you.
Be Creative!
For this contest, you are going to create an illustration based on SixLee S/S 2013 collection and you can download the high res images with the links I have provided at the end of this post. We do not encourage you to illustrate an image that is a direct copy of the photo because we know you, as an artist, are creative enough to illustrate something that will wow us.

Once you are done with the piece, you can send it to marcus@fusionofeffects.com and I will upload it to the Draw A Dot. facebook page. Then the battle will begin from there.
Vote
Your fans will determine if you can enter to the final round or not. First of all, you must like both SixLee, Fashionary and Draw A Dot. facebook page. Then in order for your fans to vote for your piece, they must like Draw A Dot. facebook page as well.

The duration of this voting period will last for a month so the faster you can send the image to me, the better chance you can get more votes. Once the voting period is over, the 5 pieces with the most votes will be entering the final round. For this round, Six Lee and I will be choosing 1 winner and the prizes are as follow.

We will choose one winner and the winning illustration will become the cover photo of SixLee and Draw A Dot. facebook page. However, the image will not be published if you are not a fan of SixLee facebook page. The duration of this cover image will last for a week. I will also have a post on Draw A Dot. based on this winning image.

Moreover, the winner will also have a feature article on à la mode as part of the [Un]Discovers series and Fashionary will be giving out 1 fashion sketchbook as well.
Finally, the winner will be invited to work with Six Lee to create the S/S 2014 invitation card. Your name will be on the card and it will be seen by many major publications (such as GQ, i-D etc) and buyers from around the world. This will be a very nice project on your resume.
