Trendology: Gap Jimi Hendrix T-Shirts

If you are a Jimi Hendrix fan, then you will not wan to miss this.

Men's version 

Gap has just announced that the company will be releasing 2 limited-edition t-shirt design to celebrate Jimi's 70th birthday and his new album - People, Hell and Angels (unreleased studio recordings from 1969, which is the same year Gap was founded). The image on the shirt is the illustration version of the album cover and here is what Seth Farbman, Gap’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, has to say about this collaboration.

“From the moment we opened our first store in 1969 selling jeans and records, Gap has always connected with people through music. This partnership is an opportunity to celebrate an influential, American artist whose music still inspires people today.”

The t-shirts will be available at gapcanada.ca and in select stores in Canada late March for $29.95. If you do not live in Canada, you can also pick these shirts up in stores in US, UK, France, Italy, Japan and China.
