Walk the Walk: Givenchy S/S 2014 Menswear Collection

I have to be honest, I wasn't really feeling the Givenchy collection in the past 2 seasons and I wasn't too sure what to expect for the S/S 2014 runway show. At this moment, I am very happy to say Riccardo has once made me like the brand all over again.

Digital prints seem to be one of the major DNA elements when it comes to Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy collections and this time, we are on a trip to visit his own techno-Africa tribes. The prints are very abstract but you can clearly see the music (boom boxes, disc, cables) and African culture influence (tribal stipes, masks). The silhouettes are similar to the past seasons but I am still a big fan of the brand's suits.

If my prediction is right, then we are going to see a lot of street style photos with Givenchy pieces in them next year.

Pros:
- This collection is back to the textiles and I really love this Techno-African Tribal print.
- For people who are not a fan of the print, there are always some well fitted plain color suits.
- The tribal stripes are surprisingly very sporty in this collection.

Cons:
- Would love to see a pair of sneakers on the runway with this Techno-African Tribal print

Eye Candies:
- Techno print suit
- Stripes polo shirt
- Techno print dress shirt
- Techno print outwear
