For the S/S 2014 season, the Viktor & Rolf school girls are going to rock the house.
The V & R school girls are rebellious: they like to add a rock 'n' roll touch to their uniforms. Some of the great examples include the studded collar shirt and the gigantic pleated skirt. However, they also like the traditional blazers with the "V&R" crest to show they are good students. I am very fascinated by the designers because they have skillfully apply the couture elements to the school uniforms. Everything is so well fitted and structured, yet the entire collection still shows the feminine side of a woman.
If this collection were your school uniform, would you want to go back to highschool once again?
Pros:
- I like the school theme of this collection, it just brings back so much memory to me.
- The blazer really shows the crafting skills of the designers. They are well fitted and show the powerful side of the women.
- The studded collar on the shirt adds a punk touch to the collection.
- The gigantic pleated design creates a 2D and comical effect to the skirt.
- The colour palette for this collection will work so well with everything in your closet.
Eye Candies:
- The school blazer
- The grey giant pleated skirt
- 2 panels blazer
- The studded collar shirt
- The blue metal embellishments coat
